Speaking In Church Before Our Mission

In preparation for our mission we had the opportunity to speak in church in the Lake Ridge 12th Ward in Magna (our old ward) on December 28, 2014, then later that day we spoke in the Lake Ridge 17th Spanish Branch (in our old stake).  Then on January 25, 2015 we spoke in the Oquirrh Lake 2nd Ward in South Jordan (our current home ward).

In preparation for our journey to Cambodia we have been learning to speak Khmer (Cambodian). We only had about two weeks of language training before we spoke in our home ward. As part of our talks we shared our testimonies in Khmer.

We counted approximately 150 friends and family who came to visit in our meeting. After speaking  we hosted friends and family for a light lunch and were very surprised to have about 90+ people come to our home.
